KAT
"MamaKat" has only been playing Taiko for a little over a year, but she has played many different kinds of percussion most of her life. She has five kids, (two human, three feline) and is currently pursuing a degree in music and art therapy. Kat has been involved in performing arts for over a quarter of a century, as a singer, director, producer, actor, dancer, choreographer, stage manager and costumer, but considers drumming the true love of her life. The draw of Taiko is that it engages your whole mind, body, and spirit. I have been involved with Kenshin for little more than a year. In that time, it has allowed me to meet fun-loving people that I consider to be part of my family. We each find the rhythmic heartbeat of life in our own way. |
